Hi everyone!

I’m a professional translator from Ukraine with a passion for music, art, and games (which, in my book, are very much a form of art).

The goal of this blog is to share faithful translations of Ukrainian music with anyone interested in discovering new sounds and stories.

I’m not aiming for strict, word-for-word translations. Instead, I focus on a balance between accuracy and poetry, with meaning as the guiding principle.

For those who want to sing along, I use the current official Ukrainian romanization system for all transcriptions. I may switch to the newer DSTU standard in the future once it's fully implemented. For now, the existing system is simply easier for English-language speakers.
